Lewis Ginter Recreation Center

Our home for the eighth straight year, the Lewis Ginter Recreation Center is in the beautiful Ginter Park Historic District at the corner of Walton and Hawthorne. It was originally built as a public elementary school at the turn of the 20th century and has wood floors throughout. The intermediate workshops and dances will be held in the second-floor auditorium. The beginner workshops will be held in the Ginter Room on the first floor of the Rec Center, while the advanced workshops will be held in the gymnasium ( no hard-soled shoes or heel slides PLEASE! Dance shoes are OK).
The Dance Space
6004 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia
The Dance Space is home to Richmond's regular Saturday swing dances. It has one of the best floor surfaces in town (buttery bamboo) and will provide the perfect atmosphere for late night. The Dance Space is in the Mattress King strip mall above Mekong Restaurant. Look for the door next to the wall with all the mailboxes and go up the stairs.
